Located one hour’s drive east of the Bordeaux the Pigeonnier du Puy sits on the edge of the Drot valley, 800 yards from the nearest main road. Behind the Pigeonnier run fields of grapes used to make award wining wine, while the southern view looks out onto the bastide town of Monsegur, just two kilometers away.
The Pigeonnier (originally constructed to house pigeons) is a three story high, fifteen foot by fifteen foot tower which is attached to a converted barn previously used to make wine.
The Pigeonnier and barn have been beautifully restored to allow for year around living and comfortable accommodations for four. An environment friendly subterranean heating system keeps the house cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
